  1. Parents in Rocklin are demanding school leaders be more open with them about their children, specifically related to transgender issues. The Rocklin Unified School District School Board is set to vote on a new policy to force school staff to notify parents within 3 days if their child wants to identify as transgender or gender-nonconforming. The San Jose Mercury News is reporting that a consumer group is urging Attorney General Rob Bonta to launch a probe of insurance companies that have either left the state or pulled back their home insurance coverage.
