  1. Abortion protest in Sacramento outside the federal courthouse in downtown Sacramento. Late Tuesday evening outside of a federal courthouse, hundreds of people supporting abortion rights gathered in downtown Sacramento angry over a leaked draft opinion that shows the U.S. Supreme Court on the verge of overturning the landmark Roe v. Wade decision.
  2. The three men suspects of the downtown Sacramento mass shooting have been charged with murder. Sacramento prosecutors have filed the first murder charges in the April 3 gang shootout downtown, charging brothers Smiley Martin and Dandrae Martin and third suspect Mtula Payton each with three counts following the deaths of six people and 12 wounded near 10th and K streets.
  3. Sacramento's rental market is cooling off with a decline in rent over the last 6 months. Apartment List, national rental analyst, has reported this week that the typical rent in Sacramento has remained consistently flat over the past six months, and is one of 10 metro areas in the nation seeing either no growth in rents or slight declines in housing.
