Sacramento County Airport Fire Department Captain Timothy A. Anderson succumbed to what is described as job-related cancer in early April this year. He was not only a firefighter but also a veteran of an aircraft crash rescue team with the United States Air Force. Anderson joined the Sacramento County Airport Fire Department in 2004. He continued to serve his country in the role of an active USAF- Reservist Master Sergeant until the time of his passing.
