NCAA March Madness Ready To Tip Off In Sacramento

The NCAA's March Madness Tournament is hitting full stride with 16 first round games on the schedule for Thursday.  16 more tip-off on Friday, four games at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center.

Fans made their way into the downtown arena to watch teams, like the University of Oregon Duck practice on Thursday.  One of those fans, Madeline Rubenstein, lives in Sacramento now, and was among those hoping for a chance to watch the Pac-12 regular season champs shoot around in preparation for tomorrow's game against Iona.  "I was born in Eugene, Oregon, and I used to go to the Pit in the 70s at the U of O with my dad and my family," said Rubenstein. "We're so excited that (the Ducks) are here in Sacramento."

It is Tag Wotherspoon's fifth trip to the Capital City for NCAA tournament games going to back 2007.  "Being a Northern California guy, I was very excited to find out that the tournament was coming back to Sacramento."
