The family of a man shot and killed by Sacramento Police officers says they still do not have the answers they seek, even though Sacramento County prosecutors have found that the shooting was justified.
Relatives of Dazion Flenaugh say they were first told there was no video of the shooting last April 8th before it was shown to them this week, and that they still have not received information they have asked for, including the police report on the incident.

Flenaugh's father, Louis, says Sacramento Police highlighted a concealed weapon charge on his son's record after he was shot. "They tried to portray him like he was a criminal or something, so people listening to the news would think they just killed another thug," he told reporters. "It wasn't that way at all, and he didn't deserve to the way he did."
The Sacramento County District Attorney now says that because Dazion Flenaugh rushed at the officers while holding a pair of knives, they were justified in their use of deadly force.
Interim Sacramento Police Chief Brian Louie calls the incident "heartbreaking" but says the officers acted courageously to protect citizens, and he is proud of the work of all his officers.
