Here at KFBK, we work hard to bring you the most entertaining, newsworthy and talked-about stories of the day. But sometimes it doesn't all fit into an hour.
Our goal with this page is to expand on some of those stories and bring you some of things we find behind the scenes. Check this page for dramatic video, entertaining pictures and interesting stories.
There are conflicting views of what happened the night that self-proclaimed Neighborhood Watch Captain George Zimmerman shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, FL. Zimmerman claims that after he got out of his car and confronted the teen, he was attacked and knocked to the ground.
The police report says that Zimmerman had bruises on his face and possibly a broken nose. It also said there were grass stains on the back of his clothing from when Martin allegedly knocked Zimmerman to the ground and bashed his head.
However, police surveillance video of that night shows a Zimmerman that doesn't look too battered. His face doesn't look bruised and his nose looks fine. There does seem to be a gash on the back of his head.
There is also a three page report detailing the medical care Zimmerman received at the scene.
ABC released the video and reporters have been calling this a "smoking gun" against Zimmerman. I don't think this is conclusive enough to be making those calls either way.
