It was too much for one father to take. Tommy Jordan of North Carolina has posted a video on YouTube of himself shooting his daughter's laptop after his daughter posted, what Jordan felt, was a disrespectful comment on Facebook.
"My daughter thought it would be funny/rebellious/cool to post on her Facebook wall just how upset she was and how unfair her life here is," says Jordan in the video. "She chose to share this with the entire world on Facebook and block her parents from seeing it. Well, umm... she failed."
It turns out that Jordan works in IT and was upgrading his daughter's computer when he came across the post.
In the video, Jordan reads his daughter's comments and gives his reaction...which includes firing a clip of .45 caliber exploding hollow points into the computer.
Did this father go to far? I'm not so sure. I think I am more appalled about what the daughter writes than the father's actions. She goes on in the letter about how she has chores and her life is tough. She complains that she never gets paid for work around the house and that she is treated like a "slave."
Turns out that her life isn't as hard as she makes it out to be.
The best part about this video is that after Jordan uploaded it to YouTube, he posted the link to his daughter's Facebook.
I guess every child needs a little tough love every now and then.
