Saturday was a lucky day for a Frito-Lay truck driver. 34-year-old David Dopp found out he had won a $380,000 Lamborghini in a convenience store contest called the Maverik's Sweepstakes on November 12. However, he had to take out insurance on the vehicle before he could claim it last weekend...which turned out to be a good thing.
6 hours after getting the keys, Dopp crashed the vehicle in a spinout. The damage wasn't major and no one was hurt, but Dopp says he has had enough fun anyways. He is selling the car and already has a few perspective buyers.
Dopp says he can't afford the insurance or the taxes on the vehicle anyways. He is going to use the money to pay bills and support his family.
