Usually in restuarants kids get to eat free. But a business in Pennsylvania has gone in the other direction.
McDain's Restaurant has announced that, starting next week, children under 6 will be banned from the establishment. Owner Mike Vuick decided to implement the policy after receiving noise complaints about crying kids from customers.
In an email he explains: "We feel that McDain's is not a place for young children. Their volume can't be controlled and many, many times, they have disturbed other customers."
Not everyone is happy with the move. Some Monroeville residents say they are offended that they are being singled out for having young kids.
It's not illegal to ban kids from eating establishments, but some parents consider the move discriminatory, and potentially a violation of rights for certain special needs kids.
