KFBK's Tim Lantz is a broadcasting veteran with experience across four decades. He began his career at the age of 17 covering school board meetings for a radio station in his hometown of Prescott, Arizona.

Since that time, Tim has worked in radio and television as a reporter, anchor, director, writer and was named best newsman in 1987 by the Arizona Associated Press. He also received 2011's Best Serious News Feature Reporting award from the Northern California Television and News Directors Association.

Tim has also spent many years in video and audio production working on projects seen on the Discovery Health Channel and other cable networks. He often publishes Internet travel videos that can also been seen here on KFBK.com.

A classic movie buff, Tim also enjoys many kinds of music from rock to opera, and he is fascinated by a variety of sciences, including paleontology.
