The Butte County Sheriff's Office says a man was injured in a butane honey - or hash-oil - explosion at an Oroville home on Saturday. Officials say 34-year-old Aaron Coppedge was in the bathroom of the home on Blakeslee Drive when vapors from the butane vapors ignited - blowing a hole in the ceiling. Coppedge was taken to the hospital with burns over 35 percen tof his body. Once he recovers, he'll be arrested on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance, being armed in the commission of a felony, and felony child endangerment. Authorities say manufacturing hash oil is extremely dangerous due to butane's low flash point.
