Are you contributing to the helium shortage? Maybe you'll think twice before sucking helium just to make your voice sound funny. Listen to the full report.

Born in Hollywood, California which makes me a California native which used to be a rare thing. Got into news while working at KLOS in Los Angeles where I co-hosted a nightly talk show, did morning news and ABC FM network news. In 1980, I moved to San Francisco to do news with the last rock and roll crew on KSAN before it went country. I have been working in San Francisco and Sacramento ever since.
I am single and still looking
I enjoy bicycling, reading, music (all kinds ) and long walks on the beach.
This is turning into either a resume or a personals ad.
I was a DJ for a number of years but all that time I was also doing news and after majoring in journalism in college really got into the value of being able to go out and cover stories and relay them and what they might mean back to listeners. In many ways, it's the job of reporters to ask the questions listener's would like asked and bring back the answers.
Joining KFBK and KSTE is for me the chance to team up with extremely skilled reporters and contribute to a dynamic newsroom while honing my own reporting skills.
