One in six. It's a startling number. That's the odds of a man being diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. And even if you're aware of the high levels of prostate cancer in men, you're never prepared when it happens to you. KFBK's Jim Naylor was diagnosed with the illness. He'll tell you about his journey battling cancer in a 5 part series airing this week on KFBK.

I grew up in Sacramento listening to AM powerhouses KROY, KNDE, and later FM rocker KZAP. My first radio job was 98.5 KZAP in Sacramento, and was the last rock jock on that station. I have also served stints at Underground Radio KRFD in Marysville as well as stations in Chico, Modesto and Auburn.
I graduated from CSU, Sacramento with a degree in Communication Studies and have a MA in Mass Communication from CSU, Fresno.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing acoustic guitar with my jazz/folk group Simone James, bugle for Bugles Across America and practicing DZR ju jitsu.
