Tuesday, February 12, 2008 Tomorrow's congressional hearing about the Mitchell Report on steroid use will focus on seven-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee, his former personal trainer. McNamee said in the Mitchell Report that he injected Clemens with steroids and human growth hormone at least 16 times in 1998, 2000 and 2001. Clemens denies the allegations. The cut, which came ahead of the Fed's meeting next week, gives signs the central bank is convinced of serious economic turmoil. But the Fed's bold move isn't stemming a stock sell-off. Tuesday, December 4, 2007 Later today Sacramento Atheist Michael Newdow will be in the Ninth US Circuit Court of appeals in San Francisco seeking to remove the words "under god" from the Pledge of Allegiance and US currency. Tuesday, November 27, 2007 Miami-Dade County police say they don't have a description yet of the suspect in the shooting death of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor. Taylor died early this morning, a day after being shot by what police say was an intruder in Taylor's Miami-area home.
