California's most well-known anti-tobacco advocate has died. Debi Austin sent a powerful message when she appeared in a PSA in the 1990s taking a drag from a cigarette through a hole in her throat. She started smoking when she was 13 years old and lost her voicebox to cancer. Austin eventually did quit smoking. She died Friday at the age of 62 after fighting cancer for two decades.
