What was movie critic Rex Reed thinking? In his latest review, he doesn't just hate the movie "Identity Theft," he attacks it because he hates lead actress Melissa McCarthy's size! He calls her, and I kid you NOT, “tractor-sized,” “obnoxious,” “humongous” and a “female hippo.” What in the WORLD does that have to do with whether that makes the movie a success of a failure. HOW does that make it funny or not??

Meantime, In an interview with Good Housekeeping in November, McCarthy admitted that despite a healthy lifestyle, she can’t shed the pounds. "Sometimes I wish I were magically a size 6 and I never had to give it a single thought. But I am weirdly healthy, so I don't beat myself up about it -- it wouldn't help, and I don't want to pass that on to my girls."

But why Red Reed felt it was incumbent upon him to attack her for her weight and not her acting, I'll never know. Read his review, and you be the judge.
