Nik Wallenda, the high wire artist, followed up his recent crossing of the Niagra Falls by completing a 500 foot walk high above a busy motorway in the US state of Florida:
Without a tether or a safety net, Wallenda balanced 200 feet above the ground aided only by a long pole, wowing several thousand people watching below. He was buffeted by strong gusts of wind during the stunt, which took place in his hometown of Sarasota. He made the death-defying stunt look easy, but the performance was anything but simple.
