State Controller John Chiang has made it a little easier to find out what public employees are taking home. He's launched a completely redesigned website that shows wage and benefit data. It gives you   search functions and maps for the latest compensation data. You can quickly see lists of the top earners in cities, counties and other local governments. Check out the site.
