The National Rifle Association, which has been critical of the gaming industry in the debate surrounding potential gun control legislation, has rolled out its own app where users can take target practice.

It's called: NRA: Practice Range. The new, free iTunes app was released Sunday by the nation’s largest gun-industry lobby for ages 4 and up.

According to the iTunes ratings system, the app is appropriate for users who are at least 4 years old because it contains "no objectionable material." The ratings also include thresholds for 9-, 12- and 17-year-olds. The game “instills safe and responsible ownership through fun challenges and realistic simulations,” according to the description.
