The California Superior Court today ruled that the city of Santa Monica shall not have any display of religious symbols on city property.  This ruling came after an athiest group petitioned to have shared access at a city park.  The atheist inundated the city with applications for use permits to host a number of bogus religious symbols.  The city of Santa Monica denied all such permits, causing area churches to sue the city for access.
