The California Senate will once again consider a bail reform bill that's already been defeated by voters.
Senate Bill 262 is being touted as a fix for the cash bail system which would guarantee the right to “affordable bail” for everyone, including those charged with serious felonies. Lawmakers are set to vote on SB-262 by the end of this week.
