Sacto City/County Leaders Talk Homeless Solutions

Sacramento city and county leaders are trying to come up with ways to solve homelessness in the area. Hundreds of people packed the Sacramento County administration building for Tuesday night's meeting, which was described as historic because it was thought to be the first of its kind in years.

Ideas being floated include setting aside hundreds of city and county housing units for the homeless and 160-square-foot fully furnished microPADS that would rent for one-thousand dollars a month.

No decision have been made at this point, but there will be two more joint meetings about the homeless crisis, one later in February, and the other in March.
