A new space tourism company is offering balloon rides to the edge of space.
World View announced Tuesday that it plans to float high-income passengers to the stratosphere as soon as 2015.
World View CEO Jane Poynter says the capsule under the balloon will be about the size of a private jet and come equipped with what she calls a "superbly comfortable, luxurious interior."
Passengers will be able to walk around, go to the in-flight bar for a drink, and enjoy views of the curvature of the Earth and the blackness of space.
The balloon and capsule will take about an hour and-a-half to reach altitude, then drift for a couple of hours before the capsule cuts loose from the balloon and glides back to Earth under an inflated parasail. Tickets will cost $75,000.
