STOCKTON, Calif. -- A Stockton mother wants answers after school officials accused her diabetic daughter of being drunk.
Alexandria Logan told News10 Lincoln High School officials made her daughter take a breathalyzer test even though the girl told them she was having an issue with her diabetes.
"Before anybody could say anything to me I told Christian 'You're sugar is high,' and I said, 'I can smell it on you,'" Logan said.
The tests came back negative for alcohol.
Logan says her daughter has been in the Lincoln Unified School District for four years, officials were aware of her condition, and she could have died.
She plans to talk to the district superintendent Monday.
