Over a ton of shark fins were confiscated from a San Francisco business owner. A new California law makes it illegal to own, sell, or distribute shark fin. California Department of Fish and Wildlife cited Michael Kwong for having more than 21-hundred pounds of the the fin. If convicted, he'll face a $1000 fine and up to a year in jail. He's requesting that the shark fins be kept refrigerated, with the hope that they'll be returned to him. This is, by far, the largest bust since the law took effect last July.
