A new report finds there's some pay disparity at the state Capitol. Sacramento journalist and former legislative aid John Hrabe spent weeks poring over the numbers. He says the ten highest-paid employees in the state Assembly are all men and the highest-paid woman makes about 85 cents on the dollar to those male counterparts. Another story finds differences in career advancement. Women fill only 35 percent of the Assembly's high-ranking, chief-of-staff positions.
