July 4: Family Blast at El Dorado County Fairgrounds

Where: 100 Placerville Dr, Placerville

When: Gates open 4 p.m. Live music from 6-10 p.m. Fireworks at Dusk

Tickets: $5.00 Parking in the Tiers
$3.00 per person (walk-in at the gate)
Kids 6 and under are free!
$15.00 per carload. Includes: parking on the grounds and gate admission for up to 6 people
$45.00 for RV's staying overnight. Includes: overnight parking on the                  grounds and gate admission for up to 6 people

July 4: 15th Annual Sacramento Independence Day Celebration

Where: Cal Expo 1600 Exposition Blvd. East Gate entry

When: Gates open at 5 p.m. Fireworks at 9:30

Tickets Free entry. $10 reserved seats available online http://www.calexpo.com/events or the day of the event at the East Gate box office at 3 p.m.

Live music, bounce houses, face painting, food and beverages, and fireworks!

July 4: "13th Annual Arden Arcade Spirit of Freedom Parade"

Where: Fulton-El Camino Recreation and Park District at Howe Park in Sacramento.

When: Parade begins at 10 a.m. 

Price: Admission is free.

Enjoy the parade traveling along Fulton Avenue and Cottage Way, then enjoy festivities and free food at Howe Park afterward.

July 4:  20th Annual Rancho Cordova Fourth of July Celebration

Where: Hagan Community Park, Chase Dr, Rancho Cordova

When: All American City 5k run at 9 a.m. through Hagan Park and a parade at 10 a.m. Activities at 12 noon, Fireworks at dusk

Tickets: $2 per person. Parking: $10 

What: Carnival rides, concerts, BMX show, festival food, booths, beer garden and fireworks!

July 4: Salute to the Red, White and Blue

Where: Elk Grove Regional Park, 9950 Elk Grove Florin Road

When: Park opens at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast: 8:00-10:00 a.m. and fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: Admission is free, first come first serve to reserve a spot in the park. Ten dollars for parking.

Don't forget to bring lawn chairs, blankets and activities for the day!

July 4:  Roseville 4th of July Celebration

Where: Placer CountyFairgrounds, 800 All American City Blvd.

When: "Run Crime out of Roseville 5k Fun Run/Walk" at 7:45 a.m. in Royer Park
Parade begins at 9 a.m.
Carnival games at 10:00 to 1 p.m.
Gates for fireworks open at 7 p.m. the show begins at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets: Admission is free, $5 for fairgrounds parking.

July 4: Fourth on the Field

Where: Raley Field, 400 Ball Pallpark Dr.

When: 6 p.m. Fireworks at dusk

Tickets: Children (ages 0-12) $5
Adults (Ages 12+) $10 

What: Neighborhood block party, local food trucks, games on the field, kids area and live music. 

 

July 4: Buffalo Chips 38th Annual 4th of July 5-miler

Where: Glen Hall Park (Corner of Sandburg & Carlson Drive in River Park), directly north of CSUS

When: Sign-in time is from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., races begin at 7:45 a.m. for the children's half-mile race for ages 10 years old and younger, 8 a.m. for the five-mile race.
