SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. -- The discovery of a body buried in a field in Rio Linda has led to the re-arrest of a suspect already in the Sacramento County Jail.
Sgt. Jason Ramos with the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department says they got a tip about a person being buried in a field in the 7500 block of 34th Street.
Search-and-rescue dogs led homicide detectives to a make-shift gravesite where they discovered the remains of a human body. The tip also led them to charge 47-year-old William Olsen with the murder.
Olsen was already in jail on an auto-theft charge.
Ramos says the victim's ID has not been confirmed, but there is a possibility that the victim may be a reported missing from outside of Sacramento County.
