The U.S. Navy's popular precision flying team will be returning to San Francisco for next year's Fleet Week festivities.
That announcement about the Blue Angels came from the U.S. Navy Tuesday afternoon.
Because of sequestration cuts, the Blue Angels didn't perform at this year's scaled-down Fleet Week or at other shows across the country.
The Navy says the team has scheduled 65 performances at 34 locations across the U.S. next year.
One of the purposes of the Blue Angels is to recruit new members of the nation's military forces.
