It looks like BART workers may finally go on strike.
One of BART's unions appears to be digging in in the ongoing contract talks with management.
Roxanne Sanchez of the SEIU union says as a result they are planning to go on strike at midnight tonight.
She says BART management has "been unwilling to reach an agreement." The news comes following the latest round of marathon contract negotiations. The public has yet to hear from BART management and the other union involved in the talks, the ATU.
BART is the area's largest and, arguably, most important public transit provider. Several hundred thousand people use BART on a daily basis.
