If you're planning on flying this Thanksgiving, AAA is advising you to buy your tickets now.
Why now and not the customary two weeks out?
Prices are on the rise. AAA says it's costing fliers $5 a day to wait until the last minute in the hopes of getting somekind of late booking deal.
Since airlines only sell a limited number of seats at the lowest fares, the best thing you can do is get the tickets now.
Thanksgiving is considered the busiest travel time of the year.
This year is no exception as nearly 3.25 million people will be in the skies over the long holiday weekend.
